Special exhibition Mobile materialsThe most important task facing an innovative company is to keep its products viable over the long term. To accomplish this, today's designers and architects must incorporate completely different approaches, models and methods in their projects. This is the only way in which they can be one step ahead of the competition, but a decisive step at that. New materials and raw materials play a key role in the architecture and design of the 21st century. Innovations that stem from high-tech industries offer previously unheard-of creative opportunities, exposing architects and designers to an entire world of freshly composed, poly-combined, manipulable and malleable raw materials. The material used makes a decisive contribution to a product's aura, function and statement. The material is frequently a point of departure for new developments, a fact that sometimes makes new products possible to begin with - an awareness of new materials, including information about new production methods and processes, is of fundamental importance - for manufacturers and designers alike. Innovative raw materials and new materials – these are the things the future is made of.
